Danish Jordanian Dairy Company was established in February 1980 as a result of a study which identified a great market need, and also with a view contributing in food security which became an urgent need in Jordan as a developed country facing manifold challenges. Since its founding, the Company has stayed abreast of developments in the industry and is actually considered as a leading Jordanian company in the manufacture of guaranteed food, using, as it does, the latest technologies, and relying on national human resources and expertise. The Company utilizes the finest raw materials and state-of-the-art machines. In reality, all the dairy products are based on fresh cow milk produced by the farms of the Company .. The aim, of course, is to satisfy all tastes... Also, we pride ourselves in our continuing development which has increased the trust of the Jordanian consumer in the products of the Company, giving it a market share exceeding all expectations.




General Manager

Mr. Omar Ahmad Mufleh Hourani is a distinguished entrepreneur who is a Jordanian national originally born in the year 1972. His academic background is a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration which he received from Al-Ahliyya Amman University 1994. He holds leading positions in a number of companies with varied areas of business activity, spanning the educational, agricultural, commercial and tourism sectors. Among those positions is being Chairman of the Executive Board of Directors and General Manager of the Danish Jordanian Dairy Company, the Chairman of the Executive Board of Directors of the Jordanian Federation for Agricultural and Livestock Investment Company, Deputy Chairman of the Executive Board of Directors of the Jordanian United Investment Company, which owns Al-Ahliyya Amman University & University Schools (first - second - third - forth), and he is also the member of the Board of Trustees of Al-Ahliyya Amman University, and is Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al-Sharq for Investment Projects Company which is the owner of the Holiday Inn Amman Hotel.

PRODUCTIVE CAPACITY



  1. The productive capacity of the company is estimated at around (100) tons daily, and the utilized capacity is around (60) tons / daily.
  2. The Company produces a wide assortment of yoghurt, cheese and their derivatives, and long life milk, flavored milk and natural juice.
  3. The Company continually conducts research to enable the Jordanian consumer to obtain healthy and beneficial products, while taking in to consideration customs, traditions and local tastes in preparing the products.
  4. All the Company products are free of preservatives. These products are made of fresh, pasteurized and sterilized cow milk from the farms of the Company.

SALES AND MARKETING



A team that is specialized in sales marketing to the most up to date international methods and the highest standard with the aim of gaining the confidence of the customers in the products of the company.

All the products of the company are available in all the governorates and areas of Jordan, where the company accesses all the markets through its refrigerated vehicles.

Moreover, the company strives systematically to open export markets whether under its name or the names of others.
